Seth Sh. Surajmal Gauridutt Mittal Eye and Dental Hospital is the venture of the Mittal Builder, Mumbai- the widely recognized and respected corporate house of the western region of India whose name is strongly associated with quality delivery in each of the enterprises undertaken by it.

Social Responsibility and Community Development:-

The Mittal Family has always felt the need to cultivate, grow and help Indian society. A belief in spreading humanity with evolution is what we desire. Feeling the need to cultivate a better India, we have built and even sponsored a few non-charitable organizations across the country.

Our contributions to the community are in areas of health, education, infrastructure development (drinking water, improving village infrastructure, construction of schools, etc.), environment (effluent treatment, tree plantation, treatment of hazardous waste), relief and assistance in the event of a natural disaster, and miscellaneous activities such as contribution to other social development organizations etc.

Education:-

A network of various schools and colleges caters to approximately 12000 students spread across Maharashtra and Rajasthan. Our team works ardently to support the educational requirements of the community and schools in the neighboring region benefiting thousands of students from the underprivileged section of the society.

We play a pivotal role in supporting the Government’s initiative toward the education of girl child. In Sardarsahar (Rajasthan), we have adopted a government middle girl’s school for improving the facilities and infrastructure.

We have also created a platform for computer learning in many urban areas. We have provided computer education to the students of arts and commerce for a better future. Regular counseling sessions are also being arranged with experts in personality development and psychology for motivating children to achieve better results.

Health Care:-

We have also run various hospitals to provide comprehensive health services covering preventive, primitive, and curative health care services to the community who can’t afford the expenditure of the good hospitals. We have also developed Community Medical Centers to conduct regular health checkups for children in schools of their respective neighboring regions. Doctors advise children and their parents on various healthcare issues and personal hygiene. Medical camps were organized by all sites benefiting patients from nearby villages and tribal areas.

As required, all sites have provided ambulance support to roadside accident victims to shift them to hospitals/nursing homes. We have also adopted a government hospital to improve the facilities of the patients and their infrastructure in Sardarsahar (Raj.)

  3. Charities of Mumbai have reserved Three Beds for T.B. Treatment in Bajai Gram, (Savali Gram) Sikar, (Raj.)
  4. Every year Mittal Charities donate Medicine Facilities in Hanuman Paidal Yatri Seva Camp.

Mittal Charities of Mumbai has recently adopted the following Government Institutes for 5 years for repairing and maintenance:-

  1. Seth Chotulal Sethia Government Hospital, Sardarshahar. Charities have constructed six consulting Rooms in the Hospital.
  2. Girdharilal Tantia Government Girls School, Sardarshahar.
  3. Charities have provided furniture in 2 Rooms and fans in all the rooms of  Bapa Seva Sadan School. Sardarshahar.
  4. Charities have constructed Watertank in the Govt. School building in Taal Maidan, Sardarshahar.

For Community:

  1. Trust provided help for the construction of the floor in Shri Ramdev Ji Temple, Sardarshahar.
  2. Trust provided help for the construction of floor in Shri Hanuman Ji Temple, Sardarshahar.

  1. Trust donated Rs 15 Lacs to Shri Gaushala Samiti, Sardarshahar for the construction of the front building.
  2. Trust has constructed the well at the Kaamdhenu Gaushala, Sardarshahar.
  3. Trust provided Tin set worth Rs 5 lacs & provided construction help or Rs 3 lacs for the compound wall in Shri Kaamdhenu Gaushala, Sardarshahar.
  4. Trust has made the Tube well at the Kaamdhenu Gaushala, Sardarshahar.
  5. Trust has Donated to the famine relief fund in the Kaamdhenu Gaushala, Sardarshahar.
  6. Trust has Donated for cow development 7.40 lac in the Kaamdhenu Gaushala, Sardarshahar.

For Municipal Corporation:

  1. Trust has constructed Municipal Corporation Town Hall at Sardarshahar.
  2. Water Cooler & Tractor Trolley Donated to Municipal Corporation Sardarshahar.
  3. Three Lac Rupees Donated for Repair & Maintenance in Municipal Corporation, Sardarshahar.
  4. Trust has provided/donated 2 split A.C. in Municipal Office at Sardarshahar.
  5. Trust has provided/donated 3 Auto (in Swachh Bharat Abhiyaan) in Municipal Office at Sardarshahar.
